This garment will cradle them up close to your body without squishing them the way a jockstrap does. Also it's designed to wear with your penis through the opening in front, so you can use the bathroom, etc (even have sex) without needing to take it off. Picking a size: the guy on the phone suggested I get the XL, eyeballing it versus his own scrotum size. Good call. Unless it's for a child or very small man, you'll want XL.
